Chendebji Chorten

A striking Nepalese-style stupa built in the 18th century by Lama Shida to subdue a local demon. Located along the historic East–West Highway, it resembles Kathmandu’s Boudhanath Stupa and is a peaceful spiritual stop for travelers.

Trongsa Dzong

The largest fortress in Bhutan and one of the most architecturally impressive. Built in 1648, Trongsa Dzong cascades dramatically along a ridge overlooking the Mangdechhu River. It played a key political role and remains deeply connected to the Bhutanese monarchy.
